Home At Last

Hard to believe my 9 months in Wales have come to a close. The people, places and experiences are so special and are some of the best of my life so far. I’ll still leave some post-exchange reflections but for now, this journey has come to an end…..

The people I have had the pleasure to meet over the last 9 months have brought me an immeasurable amount of joy. I owe my most sincere gratitude to everyone who has provided me with love and support, near and far, especially those who went above and beyond to make me feel at home (to some extreme extents of learning and reciting the Canadian national anthem)…. My door in Canada is always open for you. My heart will never be completely full again because a piece of it will always be in North Wales, among the fluffy sheep, rolling hills, cosy pubs and pints of cider and black. I’ll be back.
